Leeds Grand Theatre: Northern Ballet "Geisha"

Thursday, 19th June, 2020

"Geisha" is a new production, having its world premiere in Leeds.   The ballet is based on true events concerning two young women bound by vows of friendship, who find themselves in the midst of a collision between East and West.  As their lives are torn painfully apart, encounters from beyond the grave unleash an unexpected vengence.  An act of devotion offers the only chance of redemption.

The Northern Ballet's Leeds season ends on 21 March, and the Ballet will then depart for a UK tour to London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.

Susan Elliott has booked seats in the Dress Circle for the matinée performance, and travel will be by coach from the Racecourse to the Grand Theatre, departing and 11am and returning at approximately 5.30pm.
