Anticipating Portugal and Lunch

Anticipating Portugal and Lunch

We are delighted to be able to announce that, on 23 January 2018, there will be two lectures, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.   At 11am, Nicholas Merchant will be providing some light-hearted guidance to the attractions which will be enjoyed during our visit to Portugal in September entitled ‘Anticipating Portugal’, while in the afternoon we shall welcome Melissa Gallimore whose lecture is entitled “Classical Palaces and Gothic Structures”.

This enables us to offer a lunch for members and guests.  Some members were disappointed that there was no Christmas lunch, and we hope that this social start to 2018 will prove a substitute.   Members are, of course, welcome to attend both lectures without the meal, but the Alcove Bar will not be operating.  If you would like to have lunch, it must be ordered and pre-paid.  The cost, including coffee or tea, will be £25.

Please complete and return the form below, together with your payment, to arrive no later than Monday 8 January 2018.  Please note that only e-mail acknowledgements will be sent, if requested, and we regret that refunds cannot be made after 12 January.
